The Kujenga Amani Project is funded by the European Union and is being implemented in partnership with VOYOHEDE and CEFA-Tanzania. The primary goal of the project is to promote good parenting practices as a strategy to prevent family conflicts, which often lead to gender-based violence (GBV), violence against children (VAC), and early marriages.
This peace-building initiative focuses on reducing family conflicts and fostering a more harmonious community. The project is being implemented in Newala District Council, specifically in Mchemo, Chihangu, and Kitangali wards. The youth are the main target group, as they play a crucial role in promoting peace and social cohesion within the district.
